Dr. Sue Leatherman and our Haitian nurse Mary France
Medical Clinics
People in the Savanette have extremely limited access to health care so our clinics are always very busy with more people than we could possibly see. Two days a week we have a Haitian nurse who sees patients and uses the medications we bring. Our American doctors are incredibly important for her training.
Dr. Mark Wentz
We are very excited about our new Surgery Center. Four containers are in place and many medical items were contained in the two containers we shipped in 2018. Our next container, planned for spring of 2019, will have the remainder of the medical supplies needed. This center will be a tremendous asset for the the entire area.
Dr. Ketlie Daniels
Thanks to the efforts of optician, Rich Chrzanowski, we have 14,000 pairs of glasses and the necessary equipment to check vision and prescribe glasses for people who would otherwise have no options for their vision.
